Requirements
- Education: HBO level, preferably with a degree in Business Administration or Technology
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in solar park project development, including associated contracts
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel and complex financial modeling
- Knowledge: Familiarity with financial concepts, technical operation of solar parks, and legal and commercial aspects of project contracts
- Project Management: Excellent project acquisition and management skills
- Communication: Strong Dutch communication skills and an approachable personality

What You’ll Do as a Solar Project Developer

As a Solar Project Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and executing solar parks. Collaborating with stakeholders, you’ll ensure sustainable energy is delivered directly to social housing tenants through an energy cooperative. Your work will significantly impact social sustainability across the Netherlands.
In this role, you’ll excel in managing complex projects, overseeing budgets, and applying your expertise strategically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and acquire collective solar parks
- Coordinate with housing associations and municipalities
- Negotiate land lease contracts and cooperation agreements
- Secure project financing, permits, and contracts
- Organize local recruitment campaigns
- Oversee construction processes and ensure project delivery
- Manage project phases and ensure contractual obligations are met
- Contribute to continuous process improvement
- Report project progress to management
