Job Overview
The mission is to develop high-tech modules and systems for customers in high-end equipment. The Technology & Development (T&D) division plays a pivotal role in the development of these mechatronic modules and systems, ensuring continuous alignment with the manufacturing units.
There is an open position for a Software Test Engineer, tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Software Test Architect to implement plans and strategies aimed at reducing software faults through a test-based approach.
- Enhance and support the (automated) testing competencies within the software department.
- Assist in the development and continuous enhancement of the test automation framework/architecture and CI/CD pipeline, in collaboration with the software architect and team.
- Participate in developing test automation scripts and integrating them within our framework/pipeline.
- Perform software quality assessments, reporting on test coverage and identified risks.
- Conduct requirement-based testing.
Your Profile
You’re ambitious and eager to apply your expertise in a multidisciplinary team, pushing the boundaries of testing for high-end systems with a data-driven approach to quality.
Key qualifications include:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years in software verification and validation in a technical setting.
- Proficiency in test automation development using state-of-the-art tools.
- Some understanding of C & C++ is a must.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a semiconductor industry is a must.
- Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or similar is a plus.
- Knowledge in defining and executing test processes.
- Experience of work in Agile environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
