Join Our Team as a Product Research & Development Chemist at Lantor!

We’re looking for a Product Research & Development Chemist to join our friendly team in Lantor. The Product Research & Development Chemist will be experienced polymer chemist with experience in polyacrylate, unsaturated polyester resin and the composite industry. 

As a Product Research & Development Chemist, you will play a crucial role in Lantor’s ongoing pursuit of excellence, improving our production efficiency and developing cutting edge products. 

You will be responsible for fundamental research and development efforts in production processes and material innovation including patented technology. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to analyse, evaluate, and optimise the efficiency of our production processes, ultimately aiming to improve cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. You will also play a key role in identifying new materials and technologies to expand and enhance our product portfolio. 

This role is full time and fully based at our location in Veenendaal.

Responsibilities: 

As our Product Research & Development Chemist, you will:

Lead research projects aimed at improving production processes and materials. 

Analyse data and results to identify improvement opportunities. 

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Develop patents where applicable

Contribute to the development of new products and applications based on market trends and customer needs. 

Provide reporting and presentations on research results to the management team. 

Mentor junior team members. 

Our Requirements: 

A Ph.D. in polymer chemistry, materials science, or a related field. 

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of polyacrylate, UPR and composite materials.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development, preferably in an industrial setting. 

In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, materials, and analysis techniques. 

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability. 

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Fluent in English. 

Proactive and results-oriented attitude.
