For an internationally-oriented, family-owned, production company, we are currently looking for a Modern Workplace Consultant.

The rapid growth of the company has brought exciting opportunities, but also challenges. Among other things, they are in the process of renewing their physical and virtual workplace concept. Think of new applied technologies such as Intune and also Windows Virtual Desktop
You will work in the Global IT department within the IT Infrastructure & Services team.

What’s your role going to be?

This is a function whose character changes over time. At the moment they are in the early days of the implementation phase with the rolling out Microsoft Intune /Autopilot/MDM in their workstations. The design of the new client infrastructure is almost ready, you will participate in the construction and implementation. Part of this will initially include the support of the users.

Once this is stable, there are plenty of new challenges. Because of your knowledge and your experience in the implementation phase, you are the expert when it comes to the workstations.

So, you are an important second/third-line contact point and work closely with our service desk.

In addition, you are aware of what is going on within the organization, you perform updates and changes.

Depending on your ambitions and personal interest, you can also play a role in guiding and training users and administrators at our locations across the border.

Infrastructure: design/management of client infrastructure hardware and software, telephony, printing;

Asset management including mobile devices;

Contract management;

Management of Azure and services like SharePoint Online;

Thinking about possible improvements and drawing up business cases;

Working with suppliers and advising on investment decisions;

Follow innovations in the market and draw up the roadmap for future services and / or products .

Vereisten

What is needed from you?

5 -7 years of recent relevant work experience;

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English;

Relevant certifications, such as MCSA (e.g. Office 365, Windows 10, Server 2012/2016 or Universal Windows Platform) or MCSE (e.g. Productivity, Mobility or Core Infrastructure), Azure certification (e.g. AZ-104);

Experience with recent Microsoft technologies, for example: Active Directory/Azure AD, DNS, System Center, Microsoft Deployemnt Toolkit, Intune, Powershell scripting skills.

Experience with or knowledge of WvD, Citrix XenApp is preferred but not essential.
