Position
As the Business Analyst you will be the owner of the business processes relating to the ERP system for the Global Portable Security business. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the business and Global IT teams to improve and enhance business utilization of Microsoft Dynamcis 365. You will be responsible for understanding business requirements to configure, test and implement changes and ensure system and process compliance. You will apply proven communication, analytic and problem-solving skills ensuring alignment with cross functional teams. This position will report directly to the Director Digital Transformation, Global Portable Security.
What You Will Do?
Understand business requirements, identify gaps between business processes and D365 and make enhancement and configuration recommendations to optimize ERP utilization
Create process flows and functional design documents; own business process documentation as it relates to D365
Defining ideal and practical business system solutions while driving standardization within the work streams
Provide D365 ERP support with complex business requirements and challenges requiring a deep expertise in Supply Chain (customer orders, materials, vendors), Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Finance and Sales.
Responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing and creating functional specifications, understanding D365 setup and configuration options, documenting and testing solutions, and ensuring business partner understanding and acceptance
Participating in active partnerships with key business users to look for ways to further optimize system usage and best practices
Collaborating with D365 Developers to ensure functional spec designs are understood and technically executed correctly
Facilitate communication of requirements and processes between the third-party DSR partner and system users
Work across multiple locations and business partners to develop global/regional system and process improvements
Own relationships with any third-party support companies to ensure smooth operation of ERP
Manage use of licenses and grant user access in alignment with compliance requirements
Own IT Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing process for D365 in the Netherlands
Ensure business process and system is aligned with corporate compliance requirements
Ensure proper compliance controls and tests are in place; and train IT compliance tester as needed
Working with users to create and execute test cases that cover multiple business scenarios
Coordinate testing and validation of system changes, upgrades and enhancements
Reinforcing the business drivers to promote the usage of standard D365 ERP functionality
Actively support rapid and continuous improvement events by providing a combined view of business and system processes
Train new D365 contractors on standard work
Train users on system functionality
